TraderSync Alternative for Crypto-First Traders

TraderSync alternatives for crypto first traders: what TraderSync already does, when a crypto native journal fits, and how to move without losing history.

Quick answer

TraderSync does support crypto. Many crypto traders can stay. Look elsewhere when you want a crypto native focus, a different pricing shape, or a simpler perp first layout than a broad multi asset suite.

Three places crypto first shoppers often look next:

  1. TradeStream, a crypto journal with exchange sync in its marketing. Confirm the live venue list.
  2. CoinMarketMan, crypto futures journaling. Confirm spot if you need it.
  3. Hyerlo, a live crypto perp journal. Confirm your venues against the API and CSV list in the table.

None of these is an urgent switch. Stay on TraderSync if a week of your own fills looks right.

Comparison

A yes means the vendor markets it. It is not a guarantee your fees and funding will map. Prices are not listed. Confirm before you pay.

TraderSync TradeStream CoinMarketMan TradeZella Hyerlo

Hyerlo also has manual entry, tags and notes, a trades dock and charts, a calendar, setups, themes, a personal demo seed, and multi account by plan. Docs: hyerlo.com/docs. It does not match TraderSync's exchange catalog, coaching, or replay.

What TraderSync already does

The question is fit, not whether TraderSync can log crypto.

It has a crypto trading journal landing and markets sync with major exchanges. Public pages have named Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken, among others. Autosync versus CSV changes. Confirm your account type on the current supported list. Marketing that names many venues is not the same as autosync for your product type.

Materials also cover futures and spot inside a journal family that includes stocks, futures, and forex. If you rotate asset classes, one home is a real strength.

TraderSync publishes how to content, reports, and, on higher tiers per public pricing pages, AI and replay style features. If you use those every week, leaving for a vibe can be a downgrade. Crypto native tools sometimes feel better on sync and thinner on coaching.

Multi exchange messaging helps if you are coming from scattered CSV files. You still need account tags, and transfers are still not trades.

Why crypto first traders still look

These are preferences, not a claim that TraderSync fails at crypto.

  • Focus. If all of the result is crypto, menus built for many asset classes can feel like overhead.
  • Price shape. Public pages have listed several paid tiers, often discussed as a ladder with feature gates, plus annual discounts in marketing. Prices change. Check the official pricing page. If you will not use stock or options extras, a differently shaped crypto native tool may cost less, or TraderSync may still win because the reports are enough. Hyerlo is a trial, then Base, Breakout, and Expansion. It is not a permanent free journal tier.
  • Workflow. Crypto native tools default to pair, session, and leverage. Multi asset tools default to a broker log that also imports crypto. Neither is morally better. The test is how fast you annotate after a session.
  • Gates. If replay, certain AI reports, or mobile sit on a higher tier, compare that total with a crypto native trial. Verify the plan matrix. Do not trust an old screenshot.

Limits you should accept on either side. TraderSync may charge for a wider suite than a crypto only book uses, and funding quality still needs a trial week against the exchange. Crypto native tools may be thinner on education, replay, and other asset classes. Smaller vendors can change sync coverage. You may outgrow a crypto only tool if you add equities later. A good switch fixes the limit you feel each week.

Choose

Use the table, then answer five questions before you pay. What share of the last 30 days is crypto? Which three exchanges must work in week one? Do you need replay or AI weekly, monthly, or never? What is the software budget? Will you dual run for two weeks?

If you will not dual run, do not migrate yet. If crypto is well under half the book and you use coaching every week, stay with TraderSync, or look at TradeZella when replay is the point. If the book is almost all crypto and those extras sit unused, trial a crypto native journal. Hyerlo fits when your venues match the API and CSV cells, and you do not need AI insights or replay. Try it on your own fills at hyerlo.com.

Migration

Switching is an operations project.

  1. Export trades, notes, and tags from TraderSync before you cancel anything.
  2. Dual run for two to four weeks. Compare net result, trade count, and fees.
  3. Rebuild account ids, exchange tags, and a transfer ledger.
  4. Map tags on purpose. Do not collapse five mistake tags into one bad tag.
  5. Reconcile one full week against each exchange before you trust the new dashboard.
  6. Cancel only if you should. Keeping TraderSync for other assets and a crypto native journal for perps is a valid setup.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best TraderSync alternative for crypto?

There is no universal best. For a crypto native focus, shortlist TradeStream, CoinMarketMan, and Hyerlo, then trial your venues. For multi asset education and replay, TradeZella may fit better. Best means the tool you will reconcile and annotate every week.

Does TraderSync support Binance and Bybit?

Public crypto pages have named Binance, Bybit, Coinbase, Kraken, and others. Confirm whether your account type uses autosync or a file import on the current supported list.

Is TraderSync worth it if I only trade crypto?

It can be, if sync, reports, and any AI or replay you use beat the fee. It is less compelling if you will ignore the non crypto features and a crypto native tool covers your venues. Time a trial.

Not financial advice. TraderSync is a real crypto capable journal. Look elsewhere for focus, price, and layout, not because crypto support is missing. Dual run before you cancel.
