What each Hyperliquid export is for
On app.hyperliquid.xyz, history tabs sit under the chart. Trade History is fills. Funding History is hourly funding payments. Order History includes orders that never filled. Portfolio holds deposits and withdrawals.
| Need | Tab | In the trade CSV? |
|---|---|---|
| Fills and Closed PNL | Trade History | Yes |
| Trading fees | Trade History Fee column | Yes (and Closed PNL is labeled net of fees in the app) |
| Funding payments | Funding History | No, separate CSV |
| Deposits and withdrawals | Portfolio | No |
| Open position PnL | Positions | No |
Closed PNL on Hyperliquid is shown net of trading fees and rebates per the app labeling. Funding stays out of Closed PNL. Net period PnL is Closed PNL plus the sum of funding payments. Confirm the Closed PNL tooltip on your own screen before you reconcile.
Hyperliquid funding accrues hourly at one eighth of the computed 8 hour rate, per Hyperliquid’s trading docs. A week-long position touches many funding rows.
Export trade history
- Open app.hyperliquid.xyz and connect the wallet that actually traded. Each subaccount is a different address. Switch and repeat per subaccount.
- Under the chart, open Trade History. Do not use Order History for PnL import.
- Optional: clear filters if you want the full visible set. Decide whether Aggregate is on; aggregation combines partial fills of one order.
- Use Export as CSV.
- Save the file with the wallet short address and date in the filename.

Export funding history
- Open the Funding History tab next to Trade History.
- Export as CSV.
- Keep it beside the trade file. Positive payment means you received funding. Negative means you paid it.

History limits (why you should export on a schedule)
Hyperliquid’s info API documents hard caps: userFills returns at most the 2,000 most recent fills, and userFillsByTime can reach only the 10,000 most recent fills with at most 2,000 per response. For older history, Hyperliquid’s historical data docs list archive options and a third-party trade export interface they point to.
Export monthly if you are active. Deduplicate overlapping files by trade id when you merge archives yourself. Do not wait until you need eighteen months of history for taxes or a deep review.
Upload into Hyerlo
- Open CSV import and choose the Hyperliquid preset.
- Upload Trade History first.
- Confirm preview rows (time, market, direction, price, size, fee, Closed PNL).
- Finish the import.
- Import or attribute funding next so the fees widget can show trading vs funding honestly.

Liquidations appear in the Direction column on Hyperliquid. Filter that column when you audit blow-ups.
Pitfalls
| Pitfall | Fix |
|---|---|
| Wrong wallet connected | Reconnect the trading wallet, not an agent or API wallet. |
| Order History CSV | Switch to Trade History. |
| Skipping funding | Export Funding History or accept incomplete net PnL. |
| Waiting past the fill cap | Export on a schedule; use historical options for older fills. |
| Mixing subaccounts | One wallet address per Hyerlo account. |
Sample monthly rhythm for Hyperliquid CSV
- First weekend of the month: connect each wallet and subaccount you traded.
- Export Trade History and Funding History for each address.
- Store files as
hl-{wallet4}-{yyyy-mm}-trades.csvand...-funding.csv. - Import trades, then funding, into the matching Hyerlo account.
- Spot-check three liquidations or large losers on the chart. Write the note you should have written at entry.
- Read streaks and overtrading widgets before you raise size.
{/* screenshot: Hyerlo account switcher with two Hyperliquid wallets listed */}
If you trade several hundred fills a week, move this cadence to biweekly. The API fill ceiling does not care about your backlog.
Reconciling Closed PNL and funding
Work one week at a time.
- Sum Closed PNL from the trade CSV for that week.
- Sum funding payments for the same markets and week.
- Add them. That is your approximate net before deposits and withdrawals.
- Compare to your own wallet equity change. Gaps usually mean missing funding rows, a wrong wallet, or transfers you forgot.
Do not force deposits into trade PnL. Transfers are not edge.
Manual entry
Base is $0 forever for manual trades only. Use it for a note-heavy session while the CSV sits on your desktop, or for a fill you cannot recover from the app.
Who should stay on CSV even after autosync ships
Some Hyperliquid traders will keep CSV forever. Cold wallets they rarely open, archived seasons, and security policies that reject any ongoing connection all fit CSV better than a standing connection. Autosync coming does not retire exports. Keep the monthly files. They are your backup when an API shape changes or a wallet rotates.
Binance Futures traders on the same Hyerlo workspace can already run read-only autosync beside these CSV books. That mix is normal. Just label accounts clearly so the calendar is not a mystery.
Pricing
- Base: $0 forever, manual only
- Breakout: $15/mo ($11 launch), 3 autosync accounts
- Expansion: $30/mo ($22 launch), unlimited autosync
- Launch pricing through the first 100 members or Dec 31 2026
When Hyperliquid autosync ships, it will use an autosync seat. Until then CSV is the path. Binance Futures can already autosync with a read-only key on Breakout or Expansion. More on keys: read-only API keys.
Frequently asked questions
Does Hyerlo autosync Hyperliquid?
Not yet. CSV today. Autosync is coming.
Does Closed PNL include funding?
No. Funding has its own history. Closed PNL is labeled to include fees and rebates in the app.
Why are older Hyperliquid trades missing?
App and API access focus on recent fills. Hyperliquid documents a 10,000 most recent fills ceiling on timed fill queries. Export often, and use the historical data options for anything older.
Where do I read the product overview?
See the Hyperliquid trading journal page and the features list.
