Hyerlo vs Tradervue

Hyerlo vs Tradervue for crypto traders: asset fit, pricing, funding vs trading fees, import status, and when to keep Tradervue for equities.

Tradervue is a long-running journal. Its core markets are stocks, options, listed futures, and forex. Official asset docs do not position it as a spot-crypto or CEX perps journal. Hyerlo is built for CEX linear perps: Binance Futures read-only autosync, CSV for other listed venues, charting, calendar, and funding-aware widgets.

Quick chooser

Keep Tradervue when your book is mostly equities, options, listed futures, or forex. Try Hyerlo when your P&L lives on Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid, or similar CEX perps. Dual-run is normal if you trade both worlds.

Honest import status (Hyerlo)

  • Binance Futures: Read-only API autosync live
  • Bybit: CSV today; autosync coming
  • Phemex: CSV today; autosync coming
  • Hyperliquid: CSV today; autosync coming
  • Binance USDM: CSV today; autosync coming
  • Manual entry: Every plan

What Tradervue still gets right

Import maturity for stocks, options, futures, and forex is a real advantage. Tag-based performance, detailed reports, MFE/MAE style trade review, and a long education library keep discretionary equity and futures traders loyal. Mentoring and sharing features show up on paid plans.

None of that is weak. It aims at a different book than most CEX perp traders keep.

Where Tradervue stops for crypto traders

Official supported products cover equities and options, futures and futures options, and forex. Spot crypto is not listed as a supported class.

Two nuances:

  1. Listed bitcoin futures are not CEX perps. CME style symbols may appear on a futures whitelist. That helps traders who journal exchange-traded bitcoin futures inside a traditional futures book. It does not mean Tradervue journals Binance or Bybit perpetuals.
  2. Funding intervals, USDT or USDC linear margin, multi-leg perp fills, and multi-CEX account tags are outside the job Tradervue advertises.

If “crypto” for you means occasional CME BTC inside an otherwise traditional book, stay on Tradervue for that book. If P&L lives on CEX perps, plan a crypto-capable journal.

Where Hyerlo fits

CEX-native ingest

Hyerlo ships Binance Futures autosync with a reading-only key (read-only API keys). Other named venues use CSV until autosync ships (import). Manual entry covers corrections and Base users.

Funding-aware review

Carry cost can erase edge on perps. Hyerlo’s fees split widget keeps trading fees and funding visible. Tradervue’s commission support helps traditional books; it is not a perps funding workflow.

Review stack

Trades dock, full charting, calendar, PnL, drawdown, hit rate, streaks, overtrading, setups, themes, multi-account by plan, and hide values. No AI coaching. No trade replay claims.

Who should choose which

Choose Tradervue if:

  • Your book is mostly stocks, options, listed futures, or forex
  • You already rely on Tradervue’s broker imports and report templates
  • Crypto for you means occasional listed BTC futures inside that book
  • You want Tradervue’s education library and mentoring features

Choose Hyerlo if:

  • Your P&L is mainly CEX linear perps
  • You want API plus CSV ingest aimed at crypto venues
  • You care about funding vs trading fees, streaks, and overtrading widgets
  • You want a crypto-perp native review stack

Dual-run note: keep Tradervue for equities or listed futures and evaluate Hyerlo for CEX history. Hyerlo does not ask you to abandon a working Tradervue equity workflow.

Migrate path (CEX book only)

  1. Export anything you need from Tradervue if you also logged CEX attempts there.
  2. Connect Binance Futures or upload CSV (Binance Futures journal).
  3. Dual-run until trade counts and fee totals match exchange history.
  4. Keep Tradervue for non-crypto markets if those still matter.

Search intent note

People type “Tradervue crypto” from brand habit and discipline association. The gap is asset and venue fit, not a claim that Tradervue is a weak journal for equities. A fair comparison holds both truths: Tradervue remains excellent for its core markets, and CEX perps need a crypto-capable log.

Weekly review on Hyerlo for perps

  1. Open the calendar and mark red days without arguing.
  2. Sort the dock by largest losers, then read the chart and the note from entry time.
  3. Check trading fees vs funding.
  4. Tag chase, size-up-after-win, or hold-through-funding patterns.
  5. Update one setup rule for the next week.

For Tradervue equity books, keep the report templates and tag drills you already trust. Do not force CEX fills into a tool that does not claim that job.

Pricing honesty side by side

Tradervue Basic is free with a 30 trade monthly cap. Silver and Gold remove that cap. They open advanced reporting and broker sync. Gold adds exit analysis plus commissions and fees support. Trial windows for Silver and Gold are described on their pricing page.

Hyerlo never caps manual trades on Base by a monthly count. The gate is autosync seats, not trade count. That difference matters for high-frequency crypto scalpers who log many fills by hand while they wait to connect a key.

Frequently asked questions

Does Tradervue support crypto?
