Who this page is for

You trade USD-M or COIN-M futures on Binance and want a journal that separates trading fees from funding, shows drawdown and hit rate, and keeps multi-account books clean. You are fine pasting a read-only key, or you prefer CSV when you do not want any key on file.

Skip this if you need AI coaching or position size calculators. Hyerlo does not ship AI or calculators. It is also not a prop firm rule engine.

How Binance Futures data enters Hyerlo

Option 1: read-only API autosync (preferred)

Binance documents API key creation under Account → API Management. Before you create a key, Binance requires identity verification, two-factor authentication, and a Spot Wallet deposit of any amount to activate the account.

  1. On Binance, open Profile → Account → API Management, then create an API key.
  2. Prefer a system-generated HMAC key for a simple journal connect, or a self-generated Ed25519 or RSA key if that is your policy.
  3. Label the key so you recognize it later (for example hyerlo-read).
  4. Complete 2FA. Copy the API key and secret once. Binance will not show the secret again.
  5. Leave permissions at Enable Reading only. Do not enable trading, withdrawals, or Universal Transfer.
  6. Enable your Futures account before you create the key. Binance notes that keys created before Futures activation often cannot gain Futures related access later.
  7. In Hyerlo, connect an exchange, paste the read-only key and secret, and finish the connect flow for Binance Futures.

{/* screenshot: read-only API key paste fields (key + secret), no trading permissions shown */}

If the key is unrestricted by IP, Binance limits system-generated HMAC keys to reading. That matches what Hyerlo needs. Add IP allowlists only if your own security policy requires them, and only after you confirm Hyerlo can still reach the key.

More on keys: read-only API keys.

Option 2: CSV fallback

When you want a bulk backfill, or you refuse keys, export Futures trade history from Binance as CSV and upload it in Hyerlo.

  1. In Binance Futures, open the order and trade history area for USD-M or COIN-M.
  2. Export trade or fill history as CSV for the date window you need. Prefer fills over open orders.
  3. If the export window is capped, split the range into shorter files and import each one.
  4. In Hyerlo, upload the CSV, confirm the preview, and finish the import.

Step by step export notes live in the Binance Futures import guide.

Option 3: manual entry

On Base you can log trades by hand. Paid plans keep manual entry too. Use it for missed fills, offline notes, or a single test trade before you connect a key.

What you review after sync or import

{/* screenshot: trades dock with a Binance Futures BTCUSDT perp selected */}

{/* screenshot: full chart with entry and exit marks on a reviewed trade */}

  • Trades dock plus full charting so each fill sits under the candles you actually traded
  • Tags, notes, setups, and themes so you group the same idea across days
  • Calendar of daily results
  • Dashboard widgets: PnL, drawdown, hit rate, trading fees vs funding fees, streaks, overtrading
  • Multi-account by plan, so a Binance Futures book can sit next to CSV books from other venues
  • Hide values when you share a screen or record a review

Funding is easy to ignore on perps. A green price PnL can still lose after funding. Check the fees split widget in weekly review so that cost stays visible.

Weekly review that fits Binance Futures

  1. Open the calendar and mark the red days without arguing with them.
  2. Sort the dock by largest losers, then read the chart and your note from entry time.
  3. Check trading fees vs funding. If funding ate the week, cut hold time or skip the crowded side.
  4. Tag repeated mistakes (chase, size up after a win, hold through funding).
  5. Update one setup rule. Leave the rest alone until next week.

Pricing for autosync seats

  • Base: $0 forever. Manual trades only.
  • Breakout: $15/mo ($11 at launch). 3 autosync accounts.
  • Expansion: $30/mo ($22 at launch). Unlimited autosync.

Binance Futures autosync counts against those seats. CSV venues do not consume an autosync seat the same way; they still live as accounts in your journal. Check pricing for the live plan cards.
