Analytics is the long view of your trading. Everything on the page is built from closed trades in the accounts you have selected in the sidebar, so open positions never skew the numbers. To change which accounts count, see App chrome.
Choosing a range
The Week / Month / Year / All control in the top bar sets the range for every section except the heatmap.
| Range | Trades included |
|---|---|
| Week | The last 7 days, including today |
| Month | The current calendar month |
| Year | The current calendar year (the default) |
| All | Every closed trade |
Days follow Settings โ Preferences โ Timezone, the same as the Calendar.
Heatmap
The top section always covers the last 365 days, whatever range you pick.
- Each square is one day: green for a net winning day, red for a net losing day, deeper color for bigger results.
- Hover a square to see that day's P/L and trade count in the headline. Without a hover, the headline shows your latest day with activity.
- Best day and Worst day on the right are your single best and worst days in that window.
- Turn on Trades per day to color the squares by how many trades you closed instead of by P/L.
Equity curve
Equity curve plots your cumulative P/L across the selected range, with Drawdown underneath so you can see how far you fell from each peak.
Behavior
The behavior chart breaks your net P/L into buckets. Switch between three views:
| View | Buckets |
|---|---|
| Hold time | Under 1h, 1 to 4h, 4 to 12h, 12 to 24h, 1 to 3 days, 3 days and longer |
| Day of week | Monday through Sunday, in your timezone |
| Time of day | Six 4 hour windows, from 00:00 to 24:00 |
Use it to spot the hours, days, or holding styles that cost you money.
Performance profile
Performance profile scores seven traits from 0 to 100: win rate, profit factor, Sortino, Sharpe, recovery, drawdown control, and MFE/MAE. Current is the selected range. Prior is the period just before it (the previous 7 days, month, or year), so you can see whether you are improving. All has no prior period.
Closed trade stats
Next to the profile you get Total P/L for the range plus these stats. Hover the info icon beside a stat for its definition.
| Stat | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Win Rate | Wins divided by wins plus losses. Breakeven trades are left out. |
| Risk-Reward | Average win divided by the size of your average loss |
| Average Win / Average Loss | Mean P/L of your winning and losing trades |
| Expected Value | What an average trade earns, given your win rate and average win and loss |
| Profit Factor | Gross wins divided by gross losses |
| Average MAE / MFE | How far price moved against you and in your favor after entry, as a percent, averaged over trades that have excursion data |
Plan adherence
These four cards use the stop loss and take profit on your trades.
- Planned R:R (avg) is the average planned reward to risk.
- Trades with SL + TP counts trades that have both levels set. The other cards only look at these trades.
- Near take-profit counts exits within 15% of the stop to target distance from your target.
- Managed / near stop splits the rest: trades you closed somewhere in between, and trades that exited near the stop.
Setups, mistakes, and psychology
Three tables group your closed trades by label and show trades, win rate, and net P/L for each.
- Setup performance uses the first tag on each trade. Tag trades with your setup names (for example "Breakout" or "Range fade") to see which ones pay. Labels are grouped regardless of capitalization.
- Execution mistakes and Psychological state read structured fields that the Demo sample trades include. You can't set them on your own trades yet, so these two tables stay empty outside the Demo account for now.
Each table shows its top 12 rows. Click +N more to expand it and Show less to collapse it.
Symbol performance
The last section ranks symbols by net P/L for the range.
- The chart shows Net $ per symbol. Switch to vs volume % to see P/L relative to the volume you traded.
- The table lists trades, win rate, net P/L, average P/L, and Share of P/L for each symbol. Share of P/L is that symbol's slice of your total swing (wins and losses both count). It's negative when the symbol lost money.
- The table shows the top 12 symbols. Click +N more to see the rest.
A simple monthly review
- Pick Month and check the equity curve for the steepest drop.
- Open Behavior โ Time of day and Day of week to see whether losses cluster.
- Look at Setup performance and stop trading the setups with a negative net P/L.
- Compare Current and Prior in the performance profile to confirm you are moving in the right direction.
