TradeZella alternatives

Fair TradeZella alternatives for traders comparing price, AI replay suites, and crypto-perp journals. Includes Hyerlo, TraderSync, TradesViz, Tradervue, and when to stay.

TradeZella is a popular multi-asset journal with AI credits, trade replay, backtesting, and a large broker catalog. Traders look for alternatives when price rises, when they want a crypto-native workflow, or when they simply do not use AI and replay enough to justify the bill.

This page is published by Hyerlo (hyerlo.com). It is not a claim that TradeZella is a bad product. Competitor list prices below are taken from each product’s public pricing page. Pairwise page: Hyerlo vs TradeZella. Hub: compare.

Who usually shops for TradeZella alternatives

  • Crypto-primary traders who pay for a multi-asset suite they barely open
  • Budget-sensitive traders after TradeZella’s 2026 plan update (Essential $35, Pro $59, Ultra $99 monthly list)
  • Traders who want funding-aware perps review more than AI agents
  • Equities traders who prefer a classic report-heavy journal without the AI layer

If you open Zella AI and replay most weeks and your brokers sync cleanly, staying can be the rational choice.

Alternative profiles

Hyerlo (crypto-perp native)

Hyerlo targets active CEX perps traders. Live Binance Futures autosync uses a reading-only key. Other listed venues import by CSV. Review tools include the trades dock, full charting, and calendar. Tags, notes, setups, themes, multi-account by plan, and hide values ship too. Widgets cover PnL, drawdown, hit rate, trading vs funding fees, streaks, and overtrading.

Pricing: Base $0 forever for manual trades; Breakout $15/mo ($11 launch) with 3 autosync accounts; Expansion $30/mo ($22 launch) unlimited autosync. Launch window: first 100 members or until Dec 31 2026.

Limits: no AI features, no calculators, finite venue list. Choose Hyerlo when crypto is the book and funding visibility matters. Skip it when you need TradeZella’s replay and multi-asset education weekly.

TraderSync

Multi-asset journal with Cypher AI messaging and trade replay on paid tiers. Public pricing lists Pro, Premium, and Elite. Crypto support is marketed on their public pages. Good alternative when you still want a broad suite but prefer TraderSync’s plan shape or coaching style. Pairwise context: Hyerlo vs TraderSync.

TradesViz

Analytics-heavy journal with a free Basic plan for stocks and paid Pro/Platinum for all assets including crypto. AI Coach, simulators, and deep chart counts define the product. Often cheaper than TradeZella’s mid and top tiers on list price. Crypto connectors appear in their broker docs; a funding-split widget is not listed. See also Hyerlo vs TradesViz.

Tradervue

Classic equities, options, listed futures, and forex journal. Strong broker import culture and reports. Not a CEX perps alternative. Include it on this list only if your “leave TradeZella” reason is returning to a traditional markets journal. See Hyerlo vs Tradervue.

Spreadsheet DIY

Free and flexible. You own the schema. You also own funding formulas, multi-venue drift, and chart review friction. Fine for light books. Painful when you run several CEXs and care about funding intervals.

How to choose without hype

  1. List the three venues that must work in week one.
  2. Write whether AI or replay is weekly, monthly, or never.
  3. Decide if funding must appear as its own line in review.
  4. Cap the monthly budget.
  5. Dual-run any finalist for two weeks before you cancel TradeZella.

When to stay on TradeZella

Stay if prop firm sync, mentor mode, Zella University style education, or tick replay are part of your weekly process. Also stay if your brokers already reconcile cleanly and switching would cost more attention than money.

Migrate checklist

  1. Export your TradeZella history, including tags and notes.
  2. Connect or import into the new tool (import for Hyerlo paths).
  3. Match one full week of fills against exchange history.
  4. Rebuild setups deliberately.
  5. Cancel only after the dual-run passes.

Pricing context (2026)

TradeZella’s help center describes a July 2026 update: Essential $35/mo ($26 annual), Pro $59/mo ($44 annual), Ultra $99/mo ($74 annual). Older subscribers may keep prior prices until they change plans. That policy is TradeZella’s, not Hyerlo’s. When you compare alternatives, use the price you would pay as a new customer on the official pricing page, not a screenshot from 2024.

Hyerlo launch rates ($11 Breakout, $22 Expansion) apply for the first 100 members or until Dec 31 2026. List prices after that window are $15 and $30 monthly unless the live page says otherwise.

Fairness rule

Do not pick an alternative because a comparison blog dunked on TradeZella. Pick it because a dual-run week produced cleaner venue truth, better funding visibility, or a ritual you actually kept. If TradeZella already does that, stay.

Sample week dual-run script

Day 1: export TradeZella history and connect Hyerlo (or another finalist).
Day 2 to 5: journal every session in both tools without changing strategy.
Day 6: compare trade counts, net PnL, trading fees, and funding (if visible).
Day 7: keep only the tool whose review ritual you finished without skipping.

If both pass reconcile but only one gets opened for notes, that is your answer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best TradeZella alternative for crypto?

There is no universal best. Shortlist Hyerlo for crypto-perp native review, TraderSync or TradesViz for multi-asset peers, and dual-run before you switch.

Is there a free TradeZella alternative?

Spreadsheets are free. Hyerlo Base is free for manual trades. TradesViz Basic is free for stock-focused journaling. TradeZella itself is a paid product on current public pricing; trials are described on their site when offered.

Does Hyerlo replace TradeZella’s AI and replay?

No. Hyerlo does not ship AI coaching or trade replay.

Where is the head to head page?

See Hyerlo vs TradeZella and the compare hub.

TradeZella remains a strong multi-asset suite. Alternatives earn a look when price, crypto focus, or unused AI features change the math. Try hyerlo.com if your book is mostly CEX perps.
